Artist’s comments

The Maasai are all elegant, handsome people; seemingly proud and indifferent to all but the most necessary external influences - Nature. They are the pastoral people of Africa. During our short stay in the Maasai Village I had the opportunity to visit inside the homes. The homes are made of earth clay, dried and baked from the heat of the sun. The homes are about five feet high, with a structure of one narrow opening to enter. This was one of the richest experiences that I had during my travels to Africa.
