Since the fifteenth century, Ethiopian monks have had a presence at the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, the church believed to have been built in Jerusalem on the site where Jesus was resurrected.
This is one of the Ethiopian monks I saw living on the roof of the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. Their mud huts look like an African village.
